We had a blast last night in Manchester – this city knows how to have fun! There are a seemingly endless number of bars and restuarnts here from the uber-trendy to the traditional English pub.
Our first stop of the evening was The Old Wellington, a restaurant/pub built in the 1600 that managed to escape the bombings in WWII. It felt like we had gone back in time and we had an excellent dinner in the upper-level restaurant.

After dinner we went to several of the popular pubs in town. The scene was very lively and we found some great spots to enjoy some great English beer and some excellent people-watching!
Now it’s Sunday morning and we’re getting ready to leave the hotel. From here we’ll take a train to Hollyhead and then onto the Ferry to Dublin! Looking forward to sharing our Dublin adventure with all of you!
