Countdown to TRAFFIC Vancouver 2010 – Meet Michael Berkens

by Morgan on June 5, 2010

As we count-down to TRAFFIC Vancouver I’m excited to release even more of my interviews from TRAFFIC Las Vegas. Michael Berkens is one of the most well-know people in the Domaining industry, along with being a serious Domain Investor he also writes one of the best blog on the Internet – The Domains. Michael is someone you’re more than likely to see at a TRAFFIC show and definitely someone that I look-up to in the industry.

Three days until TRAFFIC Vancouver – I can’t wait!

Gtlds cant be overpopulated due to their startup price, its too expensive to get lots of new gtlds created in just 2 yrs.

Its very interesting typing in address bar like your were typing in google and having real websites open with info you were looking, some examples:
    - order.pizza
    - send.gifts
    - best.prices
    - drink.cocacola
    and so on.
This change will also benefit some cctld’s that have a meaning behind like .tv and .me,
    - Open.TV
    - Cable.TV
    - Date.ME
    …etc

Domains will take more of google search power and make people type more in their address bar than in their google search site.
