Your blog posts always have something useful worth reading but the difference between a blog post & a scheduled broadcast is on-demand viewing. Following up your post from a couple of days ago regarding proactively seeking backlinks from websites which rank well for the keywords you want to rank for, I sent out a number of emails to webmasters for such sites and found a few directories which I was able to add my listing to. Interestingly in the process I found one competing site which ranks extremely well for the desired keywords but this site doesn’t have an extraordinary amount of unique content, the domain is not an exact match domain and the site only has about forty backlinks. Looking at their links using Yahoo Site Explorer was an education as I have previously been under the impression that for my site to rank well I would have to obtain hundreds or perhaps thousands of backlinks. Quality over quantity, right…
