AWESOME post! (Nice, excellent, great, and interesting were all taken-lol.)

Social media marketing is definitely a part of domain 2.0. I believe it's key to implement your social media tools to get your domains indexed and get your name out there as well.

Again, AWESOME post!

Nice post. Stop parking people! Develop, it's ok really.
Also, those that say you need to be diversified in stocks are either clueless or don't want to actually work for a living.
If you've got one really great idea that you're knowledgeable about you would be a fool to split your investment into 10 others "just to be safe". What kind of logic is that?
Brokers diversify 'cause they're scared. Traders concentrate because they know.
If you have no clue, diversify. If you have a great idea, concentrate. Same for stocks and domains.

Interesting post - I do think that domain name owners need to diversify.
It is great to own the .com's but it would be also great to own some other country code domain name extenssions since many of them sold for $100 + thousands.

Great post! I have been struggling with these same ideas for months.
At first, I experimented with various parking companies and tested revenues. After moving them around a great deal and spending months optimizing each domain I was ready to pull my hair out. It is very time consuming with well over 1500 domains.
Next, I started moving "earners" to a service that provides 8 pages of content, news, blogs, videos, stores etc. If you choose to, you can change the focus of your site in 5 minutes by tweaking keywords. This also applies changes to your Adsense ads.
The problem I have is that I have a number of gambling sites that are not allowed on this format. Right now I have them parked at WhyPark.com. I also own a few xxx related domains that I don't wan't to develop for obvious reasons.
Do you know of any automated - development packages for domains in those categories?
