Thanks for the comment @Alex – excellent questions!

1. Domainvestors.tv is now forwarding to MorganLinton.com – all of the backlinks will be retained so anyone that has ever linked to me in the past will still have an active link.

2. I will have to build-up my Alexa Rank and PageRank on MorganLinton.com – however the time has come to brand myself – many people know Domainvestors.tv now but have no idea who I am. One thing I’ve learned from Chef Patrick, John Chow, and other popular bloggers is that with a blog people want to know YOU and I’m ready to take the plunge and make this blog even better than it already is. On top of that I’m serious about having an online broadcasting company – I can’t do that if the company is also a blog so it’s time to separate the two.

3. With the re-design I’m all about making the blog less cluttered and more clean and professional. I am using Thesis which is one of the best WordPress themes out there and I have reduced my site load time by almost 80%. Since load-time is used by Google and Yahoo in search engine ranking this will help me dramatically in the long-run.

Interesting move Morgan! A few questions though:

1. What will you be doing with domainvestors.tv?
2. How do you think moving your blog from domainvestors.tv to morganlinton.com affect your rankings?
3. Will you be changing the design of this blog? I think the domainvestors.tv design was much more appealing and suitable for a domaining blog.
