First off I would like to make my selection. I would like to see Chef Bruce, Patrick Marler, Frank Latona, Rick Schilling or perhaps Morgan Ruddell on the show. Those are all great choices in my opinion.

Onwards: @Domainer

The fact that you have decided to hide your identity on the blog truly shows that you are opinionated but are afraid of standing by such an opinion. The fact of the matter in this case is that you are not respecting the domaining industry. You have chosen to simply pay attention to an individual’s track record. If you pay attention to the track record of a typical domainer you will notice that everyone shines in this field differently.

As far as Chef Patrick is concerned, have you noticed if you search for the term domaining on google that his blog is positioned within the top 10 results. Currently his blog is number six for the term domaining. Now my friend, this is no small feat. The fact that Chef is freely admitting that he might have a limited technical skill set shows you how much that really matters in the long scope of things. The guy knows how to network and utilize the talents of highly skilled individuals.

This is the same element which has brought success to a number of industries. The Ford Motor Company founded by Henry Ford is a perfect example. Henry Ford was a visionary and was known to surround himself with smart people.

Patrick has taken this same methodology and applied it to the development of his blog and he has impacted the world of domaining in a new way. Domaining videos were few and far between before Patrick hit the scene and there really wasn’t much attention being paid to the “guy with a blog.”

Maybe you haven’t noticed, but domaining is not about just flipping domains anymore. Domaining is embarking on becoming a full fledged industry. During this process it will require for media outlets to keep an accurate testament to what is currently going on. Not only is Chef’s site one of thesde media outlets, he has showcased a new avenue for domainers to exploit.

I will definitely defend Patrick here. Patrick is not only an incredibly valuable member of the Domaining community but an amazing visionary and branding expert.

Patrick has been a good friend and an excellent resource and absolutely has a LOT of value to offer in a variety of areas from Domaining to marketing and branding.

It is people like Patrick that continue to inspire new Domainers and bloggers alike to follow their dreams. I would like to personally thank Patrick for his contribution to the industry and my blog and think he would be an excellent guest on the show.

That being said everyone is allowed to express their opinion on my blog – including myself!
