Gambling domain owners in the US have reason to celebrate this week. As of yesterday online gambling is now legal in the state of Nevada and New Jersey is apparently up next creating what could be the early signs of legalized online gambling across the United States.
Get ready for a heated national debate over online gambling and a chaotic gold rush of business looking to exploit what is sure to be a very lucrative new market. (TechCrunch)
Now before you go hand-register a zillion different gambling domains remember, there’s a lot of junk out there and if you think you’ve just registered the next big gambling domain you probably haven’t. That being said, there are some great gambling domains out there and for the savvy investor now is a great time to buy. Stick to .COM, and focus on one and two word domains, oh and don’t expect to flip your names to Wynn for millions of dollars overnight.
Have a great gambling domain you’ve been holding onto? Feel free to share it below!

I’ll start with PokerForever.com, 12 year-old two word .COM, like a fine wine I like a nice aged domain, oh and I love Poker

Thanks for sharing, good to know!
My best ever domain sale was a group of 10 gambling/betting domains. So although I since dropped some of my poorer quality gambling/betting domains I always held onto the better ones. These are probably my top 3 (in my own opinion):
WhatBet.com
i.e. What Bet?
e.g. betting odds comparison site or a brandable for a full blown betting site
BettingSolutions.com
e.g. community site for betting tips, advice, strategies
RiskyBet.com / RiskyBets.com
e.g. This one a bit more ‘out there’ as a brand, but maybe good for a niche site dedicated to high risk/high stakes betting

Yes I agree, esp with mobile gambling. Half of these bets will probably take place over your mobile phone so keep your mobile+ keyword gambling or casino names. Or anything with an i or e at the start. Like ibet or ebet though of course those are taken by big boys.
Zygna could be big player on social gambling. That may be pretty cool.
Two-worded casino/poker names will put you back probably 10x more in 2 years than they do today. Just IMO-
Gotta love the potential in mobile casino names

I only own one gambling .com, and one too many for my moral mind – I only think of the dark side of gambling when this subject comes to mind. But business is business?
Tom February 22, 2013 at 10:24 am
I’m all for a “heated national debate over online gambling” as TechCrunch predicts. Personally I think it should be legal but for those on the other side of the fence who feel strongly the other way, they can always buy StopOnlineGambling.com from me.
Morgan February 22, 2013 at 10:26 am
@Gypsum, nice I like BettingSolutions.com, could be a good fit for a company that creates a white-labeled gambling platform.
@Howie – everything in moderation. I have no problem with gambling and love to play Poker and Craps when I’m in Vegas once or twice a year. I don’t see anything immoral about gambling, but like anything there is a fringe of people who will gamble away their life savings but I think that’s far from the norm. I know many people that love games like Poker and have fun playing it with other people, nothing wrong with that in my book.

i use to play poker for a living but too many long hours. Pokerline.com should do well if i can come up with the scratch to hire william shatner to promote it.

I recently acquired SponsoredPoker.com. Seems like many people are using sponsors to get into poker tournaments and split their winnings with the sponsors. I also have PokerTournaments.co… If anyone is interested hit me up.

Wow, that’s huge! I wonder if this means I can get my money back from full tilt, lol. In my opinion, there is some money to be made, but most of that money will go through the hands of already well established large corporations like Harrahs, Circus Circus, Palm, and all the other major players. Why would someone spend money on a non trusted non established site by Joe schmo when they can gamble through the bigger sites? It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
