@DOUG Thanks for the positive feedback! You'll only need one hosting account - GoDaddy for example will let you host unlimited domains for under $10/month. Most services have no limit on the number of domains you can host but will limit the MB of traffic which definitely shouldn't be a problem when you're getting started.

@DOUG Happy to help! You don't need a separate hosting account for each domain. One hosting account for under $10/month with GoDaddy will do the trick! You can host an unlimited number of domains and never pay more than $10/month.

Thanks for the tips, I'm just finding out about the mini-site craze now, wish I had found out earlier! Do you have a separate hosting account for each of your domains? Doesn't that get expensive after awhile? Just asking...

Hey Morgan, nice post...
But what about Link Building for your Minisites. Do you concentrate on that? I also think Minisites are better than parking. But if you don`t have Type-Ins, you need to get visitors.
See you
Greetings from Germany

Thanks for the comment @William. I would always recommend building sites rather than parking when you can.

Mini-sites are great for high-traffic domains since you can get much better revenue from affiliate products, amazon products, and CJ ads. The problem with parking pages is that you make very little for each click - even AdSense will give you a better return in most cases.

Great post.

A couple of questions:

Would you recommend parking pages which receive a high amount of type-in traffic or building mini-sites for them? I can see how mini-sites would be good for strong keyword domains which receive little to no natural traffic, but I'm unsure about high type-in traffic domains. That is, I'm unsure I'd be able to monetize the traffic better than the parking companies already do.

Thanks for any feedback.

Now that's a success story. Thanks for sharing! Don't suppose you'd share the traffic per day to earn that kind of revenue.

Thanks again.
