Interview with Ted Olson from NameMedia

Ted Olson is in charge of the SmartName platform at NameMedia and also has some good history with my blog. Ted was one of the first people to EVER comment on my blog back in 2007! If you go to Domaining shows you’re bound to run-into Ted and as you’ll see from the interview he’s a very positive and enthusiastic person.

    Smartname is a great platform for us domainers.

    I must admit I really enjoyed using it untill I got in contact with Ted. Or at least not in contact. He never replies to emails and says that he will send you payment next month but sends no money and scams you.

    Good lad Ted doing a great job, if only the rest of the domain world new what your like.

    @Laura – I’d like to know more about your experience here. I’ve always found Ted to be completely reliable and know tons of people in the industry that feel the same.

    Smartname pays you directly so I’m a bit confused why you were contacting Ted for payment. Please elaborate a bit more on your situation and I’m happy to help you out however I can.

    I assure you that Ted is definitely a great guy and a hard-worker, he would definitely help you with whatever you need. Please explain more so I can pass this along to him.
