Want To Learn More About New gTLDs? Read These Two Blogs

Lately I’ve had more and more startups ask me about new gTLDs and where they can learn more about them. If you’ve every been to the ICANN site then you know it’s not exactly the most exciting thing to read. So I wanted to share two blogs that I personally read to stay on top of new gTLD news.

Domain Incite

Written by domain industry veteran Kevin Murphy, Domain Incite has been a go-to blog for domain business and policy news for quite a while. Kevin stays on-top of all the latest new gTLD news often breaking stories before they hit mainstream media. Kevin regularly attends ICANN events and has been plugged-into the business-side of the domain industry for as long as I can remember.

The Domains

This is probably the blog that I personally read the most in the domain industry. Run by veteran domain investor Michael Berkens the blog covers a wide range of topics and is famous for getting to hot new stories before anyone else. Michael attends most domain industry events and has a good mix of business, policy and general industry news.

There is no doubt that new gTLDs are going to change the Internet forever and these two blogs will be following this evolution every step of the way.
