19 People Bill Wants to Meet at Namescon

namescon

[This post is written by Bill Hartzer, our SEO expert writer for MorganLinton.com] As you probably are aware, the amazing Namescon conference is coming up January 13 to 15, 2014 in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m headed there a day early and plan on making the most of this domain name conference.

Going through my pre-conference checklist, I realized that I hadn’t made a list of people I absolutely must meet, in person, during this conference. And if they’re lucky, I might even buy them a drink or two (even if they don’t drink). After all, these are 19 amazing people that have helped me in one way or another in the past–and I owe a big “thank you” to each and every one of them (not necessarily in this order, though):

Donna Mahony
Richard Lau
Frank Michlick
Adam Strong
John Yeomans
David Harrison
Shaun Pilfold
Kevin Allen
Dave Evanson
Bob Olea
Paul Nicks
Mike Robertson
Elliot Silver
Brian Gilbert
Duane Forrester
Adam Dicker
Morgan Linton
Aron Meystedt
Braden Pollock

So, if you’re going to Namescon, who are the people that you absolutely must meet?

That the writer of this post has yet to meet the blog’s owner shows how in this online world you can work closely with someone without having met them in person.

@Fizz – I’ve met Bill before 🙂 I think he’s just saying he’d like to spend more time together/meet at NamesCon as well!

I was thinking to myself “wait a sec. Morgan has talked to me in person a bunch of times.”
It’ll be good to meet you Bill. . . .

Well, if Bill doesn’t want to me meet me, what the hell is the point of going?

@fizz, the point of this post is really ‘tongue and cheek’. Just thought I’d take an odd number of people and put them on a list.

Of course my list is growing every day, and there’s a lot more than 19 people I’d like to meet (and see) at Namescon this year. 😉

Bill said “Just thought I’d take an odd number of people and put them on a list.”

But he meant to say “take a number of odd people and put them on a list!”

    See you there Bill!

@~Patricia I’m not sure if that was directed to somebody in particular but I am most looking forward to meeting Duane Forrester and hearing Duane Forrester and hearing him speak. His books are awesome and I’m betting he is too.

Hey Bill, I’ll see you out there for sure.

My list is pretty large but I want to focus on the domainers that I’ve somehow missed in past conferences (Donna, Aron and a few others)
