3 Blogs Every SaaS Startup Founder Should Be Reading

SaaS Blogs

As the co-founder of a SaaS startup I’m always on the lookout for great resources in the SaaS space. I’m also someone who prefers consuming content in blog form vs. book form so I’m always on the lookout for great blogs by either previous SaaS founders or investors in the SaaS space that share their experiences. Over the last year I’ve found five blog that have become my go-to for SaaS strategy so I thought now was as good a time as any to share the with the rest of you, enjoy!

1SaaStr

Written by Jason M. Lemkin’s, a SaaS founder that took his business from $0 to $100M ARR. Jason knows his stuff, is a great writer, and has some of the best articles I’ve read about SaaS from someone who knows this business model inside and out.

2

Tomasz Tunguz

Tomasz is a VC at Redpoint and has a ton of experience investing in SaaS startups. What I really like about Tomasz’s blog is that he tends to share some of the best market analysis of SaaS as a whole. One of my favorite recent posts by Tomasz talks about why we’re still in the very early days of SaaS.

3

Chaotic Flow

While Joel’s blog might look like it was built at the dawn of the Internet, that’s because he was doing SaaS before anyone knew what SaaS was. Looks past the 90’s design and read on and I think you’ll find that Joel is absolutely brilliant when it comes to just about every SaaS topic you want to learn more about.
