Bido is Back!

Today an anonymous emailer tipped me off that Bido was back in operation. I get tips like this from time to time and went to investigate – low and behold a big banner emblazoned with the words “we are back” caught my eye – Bido is back!

Kudos to who seems to be the first person reporting this.

Jarred wrote a nice piece on their new blog ( with an update. In the update he mentions a few small tweaks they’ve made to improve the system:

– actuals will run for a longer time period
– initially starting four days
– auction start times will now be between 3PM – 4PM EST

Otherwise it’s the same ol’ Bido that we all know and love!

As an original DNZoom customer, then Bido beta tester and finally a happy Bido customer I am thrilled to see it back on the map! I’ve loved the platform since day one and can’t wait to see it continue to evolve.

For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Sahar pr Jarred they are two of the nicest people out there! I am confident that Bido will come back in a BIG way – I know I’ll be back to using it daily…starting with today πŸ™‚

I think Jarred invitations to join the Bido fanclub via Facebook was a big tip as well πŸ™‚

PS You’re not giving your buddy Patrick enough credit. He did a story on it this past week

    BIDO is back. Great!

However they should start with changing the voting system. It seems a lot of people are submitting domains but with the new system people don’t have enough votes to make domains go to auction. (unless you put all your eggs in one basket). I voted on 3 domains myself and all my voting points were already gone :p
