Today marks the first day of DOMAINfest Hollywood and I can tell you that just about every domain name investor and startup influencer in the LA-area has converged on the Loews Hotel for what looks to be a record-breaking show.
I think DOMAINfest has always done an exceptional job picking keynote speakers and this is no exception as Gary Vaynerchuk takes the stage in a little over an hour and half. If you’ve never seen Gary before make sure not to miss him today, his talks are always entertaining, and as one of the top social media influencers in the world it’s always good to see what’s on Gary’s mind.
If you don’t know much about Gary, you should. He revolutionized his parents wine business by bringing it online and then started one of the first video podcasts, Wine Library TV which was one of the most-watched shows on the Internet for quite some time.
I am also excited to be speaking today as part of the startup track that DOMAINfest is hosting on the first day of the show. I’m in part two of a three-part series on startups that brings together some of the top minds in the LA startup scene together.
