Today or really tonight, I wanted to talk about the importance of word order in domains names, and there’s a domain dropping right now that is a perfect example.
MusicLive.com
I love two word .COMs. So do many other investors because they have a solid track record. That being said, word order matters a lot and switching the word order could turn a six-figure domain into a three or four figure domain.
This is exactly what happens with this name and is also the reason why I really wouldn’t be interested in buying it. The killer two word .COM you’re looking for is LiveMusic.com, that’s a great name, MusicLive.com is not nearly as good. When I’m looking for good investments I focus on getting the best word order to maximize my potential return, word ordering issues like this could make the name unsellable or at least very hard to sell at a profit.
Now it’s your turn, what do you think? Comment and let your voice be heard!

I agree, one example wellfund.com to fundwell.com. WellFund.com implies good funding (financial services), whereas FundWell.com means “pls help us to support well project somewhere there is a shortage of clean water”. Word order of such domain name completely changes the value of the domain name.
