DomainTheft.org Launched

I am proud to say that today we have launched DomainTheft.org – a brand new online resource to help fight domain name theft, fraud, and hijacking. This project has been in the works for some time now and with more and more domains being stolen each day it could not have come at a better time.

The goal of DomainTheft.org is simple – provide a place where domain owners can list domain names that have been stolen from them, and in return provide buyers with a one-stop website to reference before making a purchase decision. We have also created a section to report scammers and domain thief’s on popular domaining forums so that users will not be duped by an already known con artist.

Next time you are looking to buy a domain name from a forum, Sedo, Afternic, or wherever you buy your domains, take a look at DomainTheft.org and make sure the domain you are buying is not stolen.

This is a completely free service and we make it easy for domain owners to list their stolen domains all in one place. We hope this will greatly reduce the amount of domain theft while also helping to expose the scammers before they cheat another person out of their valuable digital assets.
