I would like to start this post with a HUGE “thank you” to all of the people who voted for the first guest on my new television show! This is the most emails I think I’ve ever received in a one-week time period and it is clear who all of you want to see on the first episode of the television show.
So who is the first guest? Sorry – you’ll have to wait until my video tomorrow for the announcement! (Oh the pain – I know you wanted to know the guest right-away but one more day won’t kill you…will it?)
I did want to share with you the format of the first show as I’ve spent a lot of time brainstorming what will happen in the first episode. This is a dynamic television show so please share your comments – if you don’t like one of my ideas – tell me and I just might change it! This show is for all of you (and the rest of the world) anyways so I want to keep the format and plans completely transparent.
First – I have decided to go with limited advertising for the first show. There will be two one-minute ad spots available on the show. To inquire about ad rates or reserve a spot please email me at email@example.com!
The first show will run for 30 minutes with 28 minutes of content and two minutes of advertising (following Hulu’s lead on this idea). The format is looking like the following:
Segment 1: This month in Domaining (5 minutes)
Segment 2: Domaining Money: Segment on actual technique to make more money with your domains (5 minutes)
<< Commercial #1 >>
Segment 3: Live from Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills (7 minutes) (Going to keep this one a surprise!)
<< Commercial #1 >>
Segment 4: Guest Interview (10 minutes)
Segment 5: Domain Investing Moment of Zen (1 minute) (Yes – same idea as the daily show – we’ll poke fun at someone)
That’s the format – let me know what you think! Like it? Hate it? Have a great idea? Share it with me and you might just change the first episode of Domainvestors Television.
