Weekly Video: Don't Be Afraid – Let Them Drop!

In this video I talk about the importance of identifying which domains in your portfolio are good investments and which are simply wasting your money in yearly registration fees. Oftentimes new domain investors will become excited by the industry and register hundreds of domain names, then when a year goes by they renew the name without thinking about it as an investment.

Domain Investing, like stock investing, involves taking the time to properly analyze your portfolio and determine which domains are good investments. Remember, at the end of the day you want to be a Domain Investor, not a Domain Collector!

Hi morgan you made some really good points their when i first started domaining in 2005 i just yousto pay over $2000 renewals for maybe around 300 domains. Now i have almost 2000 domains i reg over 100 a month and i drop maybe 50 a month so my portfolio is growing by around 50% and the good thing is they are costing me nothing because of the parking revenue i’m making i just keep the ones that either have really good value or ones that pay for atleast their renewal fee . Some names i yousto think was good i can drop them without thinking to much now you need to find a system that suits you .
