Efty just announced a brand new marketplace theme, and IMHO – it rocks

Today Efty announced a brand new theme for anyone that has a custom marketplace for their domains hosted through the platform. I’ll spill the beans and tell you that I knew this was coming since I got a sneak peek of it while I was in Portugal with Doron, one of the founders of Efty.

Like the title of the post says, the new theme rocks, and it’s not just because the demo site happens to be for NameRockstar…but that is a pretty nice coincidence. The theme is super clean, easy to navigate, and looks great on mobile. Given that most of the people going to your domains are doing so on a mobile phone, it makes a lot of sense that Efty decided to go mobile-first when designing this theme.

Here’s a few of the shiny new features that come with this theme:

Shortlist.
The Michelet marketplace theme allows anyone who’s browsing your site to favorite a domain name by clicking or tapping the small heart-shaped icon underneath the description or within the search results. A shortlist of all favorite domain names can then be accessed by navigating to the heart-shaped icon in the main menu of the site.

A Custom Page & Contact Us Page.
Besides an existing “About Us” page you can now create another custom page which will be displayed in the main navigation of the Michelet theme. You can name this page yourself so you can use it however you see fit. Showcase previously sold domains, create a “How does this work” page where you outline the purchasing and transfer process, or put up a widget from another site.  We’ve also added a static “Contact Us” page. Both of these pages will show up across any marketplace theme you choose for your site.

Easy Make-Offer forms
Buyers can now submit an offer for a domain name without leaving the search result pages on your marketplace site. As with all inquiries, Efty will collect as much relevant information as possible about the submitting party, such as a telephone number and IP address, making it easy for you to research the potential buyer.

Increased logo size
The Michelet theme features a larger logo in the header of the site for increased exposure and easier navigation on both desktop and mobile devices. (Source – Efty blog)

If you want to take the new theme for a spin yourself, head on over to NameRockstar.com. Oh and if you don’t have an Efty account yet, you can also take it for a spin at no cost for 30-days. Honestly, I don’t know anyone that has tried Efty and hasn’t signed up, it’s a great platform and one of the core solutions that I recommend to every single Domainer.

Congrats to the whole team at Efty on the release!
