Flippa Friday

Hello, happy Friday, and welcome to Flippa Friday here on MorganLinton.com! There has been a massive influx of one-word .COM and .IO domains on Flippa with solid names in both camps. While a .COM will always command more value, .IO names are seeing nice liquidity now and can be purchased on Flippa for a fraction of the .COM price. That being said, there’s a lot more risk since the .IO market is still far from being proven-out, .COM on the other hand is the one-and-only TLD that has a very well-defined market and liquidity patterns.

Getting too geeky? Okay, let’s get-into this week’s names!

PrivateAirplanes.com – solid two-word .COM in an incredibly high-value affiliate niche. While you might not sell a private plane every month, the commission off a single sale could be enough to make your year a whole lot better.

Removable.com – a one-word .COM listed at no reserve. While I would much rather have Remove.com this could be an opportunity to get Removable.com for a whole lot less given that there’s not reserve price. Currently at $1,000 with 11 days to go.

Kayaking.org – the kayaking industry is huge and growing dramatically online thanks to sites like OutdoorPlay, Colorado Kayak and many more. Currently at $1,600 with 7 days to go.

Weights.com – it’s time to pump you up! Or maybe it’s time to sell some weights online…no wait, weights are damn heavy, shipping could get interesting. Still I like this name, you’d just have to find someone who is already in the business or know how to get this one off the ground.

Investors.io – I don’t think a week goes by where there isn’t another solid one-word .IO name listed on Flippa. Currently just north of $200 with two weeks to go. I think this is a pretty good buy under $1,000.

Unplug.com – I really like this name, however like most things, it all depends on the price. If the reserve is under $10k this would be a steal, over $50k and it could be a tough one to flip. Either way I’ll think this is a great brand.
