Flippa Friday: Source.io, Iraq.net, BackupService.com

Flippa Friday

Hello, Happy Friday, and welcome to another exciting edition of Flippa Friday here on MorganLinton.com. I missed last week as we were making our way to Austin, well we are here now, loving it, and I have a nice batch of domains on Flippa that I’m also pretty excited about.

Enough from me, let’s get to the domains!

Source.io – I’ve written about this one before and I still love it. In case you missed it, startups and VC firms are really digging .IO for developer-related services, this is a stellar one and I will say that I might be bidding on this.

Iraq.net – originally registered in 1995 (I was 14) – this is a very solid one-word .NET that would make the most sense for someone who wants to site a news site related to Iraq.

BackupService.com – there is a reason why my main investment focus this year is on two-word .COMs. This is a great name in a big market and under $5k I think it’s a steal.

VUM.com – I love 3 character .COMs. While I don’t think this is the best of the best, it’s still a solid name for any company that uses these three letters as the acronym for their company.

Task.io – another very solid .IO name. Pretty cool to see all the .IO names over $1,000, there’s a real market here and this is a nice, short one that is easy to spell and remember.

Overfeed.com – I think this is a pretty cool brandable for a company in the RSS feed space, FeedBurner is probably the coolest name and most well-known company but Overfeed is a good one that nobody is going to typo.

That’s all folks, have a great weekend!
