Hello from Fort Lauderdale – DNCruise Starts Tomorrow!

I’m sitting in Chef Patrick’s pad right now, watching some football and getting ready for the first EVER Domain Conference on a Cruise Ship. I can tell you that Patrick has put a TON of time and energy into this conference and it is going to be one of the history books!

So now I thought it was time to begin the video extravaganza – that’s right – if you’re not coming on the cruise – you’re coming with me whether you like it or not! I’ll be sharing videos as much as I can from the cruise ship and of course a HUGE video walk-through when I get back.

To start here’s my first video of the trip when I arrived at the Fort Lauderdale airport this morning.

After getting to the airport I headed over to Chef’s place to see the new digs and grab some lunch. Below is a picture from Patrick’s awesome balcony with an incredible view of the intercoastal…and a surprise guest appearance from someone you might recognize.

Now we’re headed out to dinner, then bed, and then hop on a cruise ship because DNCruise is here! If you’re not in Fort Lauderdale today all I can say is, there’s only one FIRST Domaining Conference on a boat – and this is it!

Stay-tuned to MorganLinton.com and I’ll do my best to keep you updated on all the action and excitement!

    Hi Patrick & Morgan,

Great job guys in particular Patrick for putting the event together.

Sorry I can’t be there but I will be in spirit! Speaking of spirit, please have a Jack & Coke for me won’t you!.

Having run events in the past myself, I know the time and effort that goes into getting them off the ground.

I wish you all the success in the world, it is all great exposure for the domain industry.

Well done Morgan for putting up all the videos, I look forward to seeing what you guys get up to. See you when you are back in perth.

    Cheers

Wow, I soooo wish I could attend. A cruise ship is _the_ perfect location for a domain conference!

Looking forward to reading your updates and hopefully I will be able to attend next year. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ah, that shot of the intracoastal (not intercoastal, although that’s how most South Floridians pronounce it) made me a little homesick. Regretfully, I won’t be there to hang with you guys this time round so here’s some SoFla tips while you’re there.

    – LeTub’s on Hollywood Beach has the best burgers ever, anywhere. Bring cash, your appetite and about an hour to wait for your burger. Well worth it. Try to sit at the end of the dock.
    – The best route to South Beach from Ft. Lauderdale is straight down A1A (after a brief detour on US1 around Port Everglades). Federal Hwy is not as um, picturesque.
    – Don’t speed in Golden Beach. There’s only 1 road (A1A) and it has it’s own Police Dept. Nuff said.
    – The best Cuban food outside of Cuba is at Puerto Sagua Restaurant and is not far from the hotel. Try the Ropa Vieja, it’s heaven.

Have fun and congrats to Patrick on the cruise!
