Hello from Milan – Our European Adventures Begin

We arrived in Milan about an hour ago after what I have to say is one of the best flights I’ve ever been on from JFK to Milan. It was our first time flying in an Airbus 380 and our first time flying Emirates and I could have honestly been on the plane for ten more hours and I would have been a happy camper.

As many of you know Milan is known by many as the fashion capital of the world and I can already see why. There are ads for high-end fashion brands the moment you exit the airplane and just looking around you can tell people care a lot about how they dress.

We’ll be in Milan for the next four days meeting with some potential Fashion Metric clients (yes, we’re expanding to Italy!) and then we’re heading to Switzerland for an International body scanning conference. Since our inception we have been buying body data and we like data from body scanners the most given the incredibly high-level of accuracy they offer.

Of course while I’m traveling I’ll be taking all of you along for the adventure! For those who have been reading my blog for years you know I love traveling and I love sharing what I learn along the adventure. Which brings me to my first lesson, cabs from the Milan airport to downtown Milan are expensive, damn expensive, like $150 USD, yikes! Well, live and learn, I’m guessing there’s probably a train we could have taken which we’ll definitely be taking on the way back.

Okay, enough writing for now, time to explore the city!
