Here’s me interviewing Theo from DomainGang…seven years ago

Yes, back in 2010 I was a huge geek doing interviews at domain conferences. I went so far as to make my own mic flags, and I stood in front of a huge Avril Levine poster because I thought it made my videos look cool. Little did I know, it didn’t.

So, back in 2010, actually at TRAFFIC 2010 I interviewed a number of people, and one of them was none other than Theo, publisher of the popular domain blog, DomainGang.com. In fact, I’m pretty sure this is the first time the world saw Theo in the flesh. I’ve been a huge fan of Theo’s blog for a long time now and for those who don’t know him as well as I do, this is a good chance to know the man behind the blog…so I’ll let the young Morgan and Theo take it from there – enjoy!

Wow, the elusive Theo! from seven years ago. Great to put a person behind the blog and posts. Hi Theo! Cheers Morgan.

Morgan, thanks for the memories. That was right after Latona’s domain auction server had crashed!

Hey Howie – Never elusive. This was my second TRAFFIC after 2008.

Donna – Yes, lots of hair, and about 20 lbs overweight. It was a fun interview, despite having 100 degree fever.

    Here’s a followup from 2017 😀 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVPACMNi0b0

Morgan, hope to see you at MERGE! in Orlando.

The important thing is that you are friends of a market, very distant for me.

Not being able to come to US be my main problem since Morgan in 2010 is my online mentor.

Time passes bill if you are not in place and in your niche market.

Nor can I complain about receiving a tweet from Howard Neu telling me what to do this year at Marge! Orlando. He has known for years that I can not travel and make long trips.

Finally Theo subscribe me in the rss: post and comments of your blog.

Theo, no I meant as in first time people have actually seen you, if they haven’t been to Traffic, namescon, etc. For instance DomainGang is not personalised, and there is no personal details on acro and you have an avatar on the blogs and posts, so for me it was nice to put a face behind it all. Cheers.
