Here’s What $1,675/month Will Get You In San Francisco and Austin

If you think that you paid to much for your house or condo, think again. San Francisco is seeing some of the highest rents in the world at the moment which means that $1,675 will get you, drumroll please – a 225 square foot one bedroom apartment. Yes, you did hear that correctly, the apartment is 225 square feet and you really do have to see the broker’s tour to appreciate it.

Just to play devils advocate I decided to look at what the same price would get you elsewhere in the US. In Austin $1,675/month will get you this 1387 square foot 3 bedroom/2 BA apartment:

Hat tip to Curbed San Francisco who discovered this little gem.

Lucky to have in Barcelona and Madrid apartment at the price of San Francisco is a gift.

Barcelona High Areas where high class people be 1 bedroom with separate balo, a living room and a kitchen with furniture and maybe without some appliances, no heat, no lift price per month is more input two more months first month rent from $ 725 to $ 2500.

Spain is very expensive, only the rich live well and have many corrupt politics or reading the international news is the best information for Valenciia, Madrid, Barcelona and other cities where the square meter price rent say it is now € 800 when it is actually 10 times more.

    I just sent a email @ Morgan.

Well, that’s what happens when you limit housing via strict zoning laws, high taxes, and just about everything else they do up there.

I think it’s funny when he says “I give you an idea of the space”… I didn’t see no space 😉
