How much will 572888.com sell for? Go Daddy says it’s worth $896 but it’s about to break $4,500 in bids

I’ve heard a lot of people say that numeric domain names are dying and that interest has waned. I’ve never been much of a numeric domain investor myself so I definitely don’t have my finger on the pulse of the market…but I was surprised to see a 6N .COM, 572888.com at $4,449 with more than a day left to go.

I also think it’s pretty interesting that Go Daddy has the “Estimated Value” listed at $896, about one fifth of the current bid. Personally, when I see an auction like this I wonder really how much ROI an investor could get for this name. Yes, I get it – it ends with 888 which is really good when it comes to numeric domains how realistically, how many buyers are there to flip this to?

Since I know some of my readers know the numeric domain market a lot better than I do I thought I’d ask you. How much do you think this will end up going for and is this going to end up being a good investment for the buyer?
