It's Official – Domainvestors Television Is Now On iTunes!

First let me just say – Wahooo! This may be a small step for man but it’s a giant leap for Domainvestors.tv. Today I received an email from Apple letting me know that my video podcast had been approved by iTunes. This means that you can now view my videos on iTunes, YouTube, Vimeo, and Viddler. Heck – I’m not sure I know of any other video services out there – if you do let me know and I’ll add it to the list!

Above you can see what the podcast looks like in iTunes. If you have an Apple TV you can now access my show every week from the comfort of your couch or bed. While YouTube and Vimeo have been great I’m always looking for ways to get my content in front of non-Domainers – people who know nothing about our industry – so I can encourage other people to get involved.

I see this as a big step that goes inline with my promotion strategy for the television show next year. I’m going to be actively targeting regular people with no experience with domain names or web design because these are the people that could become the Domainers of tomorrow!!

Now my market has moved from anyone with a computer who uses Vimeo, You Tube, or Viddler, to a much larger market – the iPhone and iPod touch community (and the handful of Apple TV users out there – of which I am one!).

So get ready everyone – it’s time to let the whole world know what we do and I’m going to do it! I hear what Rick is saying about keeping the conferences pricey to keep only those who are making money with domains in but I’m taking a different approach. I think that there are plenty of intelligent people out there who just don’t realize this industry exists.

That’s going to change and I think the more people that get involved, the more media attention we’ll get and the bigger our industry will become. People will soon realize that Domaining and Cybersquatting are two very different things. So let’s open the educational floodgates everyone and let the whole world know that there’s a tiny industry full of passionate people here and we’re happy to welcome anyone with the same passion and drive that we all have!
