In case you missed my post last week, Domaining MBA Monday, one of my most popular blog series of all time is moving to my now weekly newsletter. Last week I saw a nice uptick in sign-ups but I wanted to give people one more quick ping before I send the newsletter, so this is that ping! If you have enjoyed Domaining MBA Monday then sign-up for my newsletter and they will be delivered to your inbox every Monday. Not a bad way to wake-up right?

As many of you have seen, my life has changed dramatically over the last year. Now I spend every single day and night changing the way men shop for clothes online. We aren’t building a lifestyle business, we have huge goals and that means that it takes up the vast majority of my time. While I still attend a number of domain name events (in fact you can see me speaking at NamesCon early next year) and at TRAFFIC Vegas a few months after that, my focus is now firmly in the startup space and laser-focus on Fashion Metric.

All of that being said, Linton Investments is hiring. We added two new team-members here in LA and have a number of open positions that we are interviewing for right now. The company is growing and doing some incredible domain deals for amazing startup founders all over the world. Do I still love domain names? Absolutely, in fact we are spending more money on domains than ever before. I mostly invest in .COMs and as I’ve said many times before I don’t think the new gTLDs are going to be a good investments for Domain Investors, I do think they will be great for the people who run them and all the people around the world who will use them to build amazing companies on.

So what can you expect to read about on MorganLinton.com?

My blog is focused on the intersection of domain names and startups. What domains startups are using, why they’re using them, what’s working, and what’s not. New gTLDs will definitely become a larger topic of discussion as I personally think this will be great for the startup community. I know there are many people in the domain industry who disagree with me, that’s fine, just remember, I don’t think these are good investments for Domainers.

So if you love domains and love startups then you’ll love the direction this blog is going in. If you really want to go deeper into how to build and grow a company in the domain space then my newsletter is where you’ll really find what you’re looking for.

This journey started in 2007, back then I was working for digital music startup Sonos and dabbling in domains. Fast forward to today and I’m a proud Sonos shareholder and the co-founder of an LA-based startup that is disrupting the $49B menswear market.

Thanks for coming along for the journey and I look forward to the road ahead!
