Looking for that Category-Killer .CO? Look no further than Mercury Web Media!

As you all know I’m a big fan of .CO and when it comes to building a brand online it’s all about owning your category. While some people can afford the category-killer .com that corresponds to their business oftentimes these names are just too expensive to be within reach. Well thanks to Mercury Web Media you can now own the .CO of your dreams and build your brand on an exact-match domain.

small_Mercury_Web_MediaHere are some of my favorite .CO names that Mercury Web Media has for sale:

3DGlasses.co – for those of you into 3D domains this is a big one. People will be looking for 3D glasses for a long time and if you want to build a brand around this category – this is one of the best.

CheckCredit.co – the keyword phrase “check credit” gets over 670,000 searches every month in Google and boasts a CPC of $6.36, need I say more?

StockChart.co – great keywords and the perfect home for a company that builds or offers stock charts online. With 165,000 searches on Google for “stock chart” monthly there are a lot of potential customers out there just waiting for this to be developed!

The list goes on but these are some of my favorites. Along with having some incredible .CO domains Mercury Web Media also offers some of the most coveted .COM and .NET domains as well. In their .COM/.NET portfolio they have category-killer names like PaternityTest.com which is a PR3 site and on the first page of Google for several strong keywords.

2011 is the year to go big and take your business to the next-level and one of the best ways to do this is by owning your category. Whether it’s a category-killer .COM, .NET, or .CO Mercury Web Media has what you need to make your business the category-leader online!

    Hi Morgan,

I own approx 40 .co domains myself and think they will do well over time but are not a competitor to .com but an alternative for people without the money for a premium .com. Time will tell!

Just thought I would point out an error in your stats for CheckCredit.co where you said in the post –

“CheckCredit.co – the keyword phrase “check credit” gets over 670,000 searches every month in Google and boasts a CPC of $6.36, need I say more?”

It looks like you have based your figure of 670,000 searches on the Broad match from Google not the Exact match which is only 1600 searches per month.

Morgan, have you changed your stance on reselling/flipping .co names? Just curious…I recall that you didn’t encourage it last summer.
