Looking for Three Guest Editors for my New Book

As you know I’ve been working hard on the third edition of my book. It kept getting longer and longer and rather than cut it off I just kept going! Well I’m excited to say that the third edition is now finished and has been sent to my editors for review.

This is my normal process along with sending copies to my family and getting Daina to read and critique. However I thought that this time I’d open it up a bit and offer three people the chance to be a guest editor and help me make the third edition the best that it can be.

Now here’s the catch. Yes – there’s always a catch. I am looking for three different people:

1) A brand-new Domainer that has NOT purchased any domains yet

2) A new Domainer that owns some domains but hasn’t made much money either selling or monetizing

3) A seasoned Domain Investor making six-figures or more each year

I think this will help me make sure my book has something for each of these audiences. If you think you’d be a perfect fit please comment below and let me know a bit about you. Editors will receive a free copy of the book along with a free copy of my video course ($99 value). Thanks in advance for helping me make this book the best that it can be!

    Morgan,

Have been an avid reader for many years and have just noted this blog post. This is the first time I have made comment on your blog.

    I fall into category 2:
A new Domainer that owns some domains but hasn’t made much money either selling or monetizing

I recently purchased some high value domains in the .co general release sale these include:
    stlucia.co
    barbuda.co

I also have other product related sites I have been looking at monetizing but have not had the ability or time to build sites due to other projects.

Why do I think I would be a good guest editor:
I have read many to bloggers books. My favourite are:
    – ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income by Darren Rowse
    – Moonlighting on the Internet by Yanik Silver
    – Rework by Jason Fried & David Heinemeier Hansson – not technically a bloggers book

I have also subscribed over the years subscribed to hundreds of blogs that have free and paid ebooks. I am critically constructive of their material, even when finding mistakes highlighting them to the author, either grammatical, spelling or contextual.

I have also worked previously as a training copywriter for a large multi-national delivery training to retail sales staff on technically complex principals.

I believe my ability to be critical and take an outside perspective to comprehensively critique and read the material will allow you to deliver a more rounded product.

Why am I excited at the opportunity:
    1. I will be amongst the first to read the book
    2. I will recieve the training videos – I watched Morgan Linton TV and thoroughly enjoyed your videos. It would be a great set of learning material for me to become a better domain investor.

Thank you for the opportunity to guest edit your latest book version and I look forward to receiving an e-mail from you. I am also happy to address any further questions.

    Thanks,

    Darryl

am interested and up for it.

I have an arts & media background with some experience in writing for proposals.

I’d describe myself as “A new Domainer that owns some domains but hasn’t made much money either selling or monetizing” since my only domains are personal blogs not intended to be monetized…or “A brand-new Domainer that has NOT purchased any domains yet” if those don’t count.

pls contact me if you need more details.

    Morgan,

I would qualify for the “Brand New Domainer Who Has Not Purchased Any Domains Yet”. I would be very pleased to help you with this. I am very interested in getting started in this field.

    Thank you,

    Bob

Does it count if I own some domains and have lost money so far on renewals and expenses? 🙁

Would love the opportunity to review your book!

    Thanks!

    Morgan,
I started domaining a year ago and since than I follow up most of domaining.com post including yours of course.
I own a couple of domains, some hand registerded and some I bought on sedo for more money. The most i made is a sell of a hand registered domain for 50$ and just today another domain for about reg fee.
I believe im exactly the one for 2) A new Domainer that owns some domains but hasn’t made much money either selling or monetizing.
Ill be glad to be one of the guest editors of your book and im sure ill make it worth for you.

    Best regards,
    Lior Tal.
