Hello, happy Friday, and welcome to Morgan’s Flippa Five! My Flippa Five has become a popular series on my blog and I don’t just pick five random names, nor do I use a script or some fancy software to pick these domains. Instead I take the time to do a deep dive of the tens of thousands of domains on Flippa to pick five that I think could make good investments.
As always, a domain name is only a good investment at a certain price so do your homework, review comparable sales, and buy low. Now onto this week’s names, enjoy!
Shout.com – I included this name last week and am happy to include it again since I love it just as much. Solid one-word .COM, my favorites.
Activism.com – another nice one-word .COM but with a $175k buy it now price I’m concerned the reserve could be more in end-user than investor territory. Be careful on this one to make sure you buy at wholesale not retail.
Crock.com – short one-word .COM, not as good as Shout.com but I still like it.
Loan.info – it is incredibly rare to see a .INFO hit my top five but I have to say this is one of the best .INFO names out there. Given that bidding is already over $4,000 it’s clear I’m not the only one that thinks this. Just be careful since this is getting into a higher price range for .INFO names.
Widest.com – can you tell I like one-word .COMs? While I’d much rather own Wide.com, I still like this domain and would expect to pay a lot less for it since it’s definitely a weaker name than it’s close cousin that I just mentioned.
