Hello, happy Friday and welcome to Morgan’s Flippa Five. Every week I go through Flippa’s domain name listings by hand (no fancy scripts) and hand-pick five domains that I think could make good investments, if you get them at the right price.
This is the most important point I can make, all of these domains could make terrible investments if you pay too much for them. So do your homework and use tools like NameBio and sites like DNJournal to do your homework and make sure you are buying at wholesale. Okay, enough from me, now onto this week’s domains!
Cheek.com – decent one-word .COM, not as strong as most of the one-word .COMs I usually gravitate towards but still a solid domain. The big question is, what does someone initially think of when they hear it?
vDesk.com – I have covered this domain in the past and I still like it just as much. With companies like WeWork seeing multi-billion dollar valuations the concept of a “virtual desk” is hotter than it has ever been.
Winnipeg.com – a city in Canada that can get pretty darn cold, but I won’t hold that against it, still a nice city name .COM.
Argument.com – you think I’m wrong about this one? You’re wrong! Let’s settle this argument. Too cheesy? Well either way this is a one-word .COM which I like, somewhat narrow use cases and a bit long but depending on the price it could be a good buy.
Biomedical.com – huge industry but could be a tough domain to sell, if you know the space and have been waiting to build a site that targets the Biomedical industry then this likely is the domain you’ve been looking for.
