Lonnie Borck was one of the kindest and most well-respected people in the domain name world. Lonnie had a great eye for domains but was also famous for having a big heart and being a great husband, Dad, and friend to many. We lost Lonnie far too soon but his memory lives on in many ways, one of them being an annual award given in his honor by the ICA.
Last year at NamesCon the award was given to Ron Jackson, it was an incredibly touching moment. If you weren’t there to see it in person, here’s the video:
