One Year Ago Today

View More:

A year ago today I married my best friend and the love of my life. I still can’t believe it’s been a year, time flies and our lives are completely different today than they were just a year ago. When I got married I thought little would change, we had been living together for over six years and already knew everything there was to know about each other.

Over the last year we have spent every single day together, no leaving for work and talking about our days over dinner. It’s the dream we always wanted, the opportunity to go through life together, as one. Don’t compare experiences but share them, all the ups, downs, and in-betweens.

Now we spent most of our waking (and sometimes half-awake) time focused on Fashion Metric, the company we always dreamed of building together. Life is a marathon, not a sprint, and we want to spend that marathon side-by-side both working on something we absolutely love doing. Today we’re spending the day together, this time not doing work but instead relaxing, getting massages from Soothe, and playing some of our favorite board games and card games out on the patio.

Next week we’ll be in Las Vegas for the PROJECT/Magic fashion show and then off to Maui and Lana’i but today it’s just us and the boats, some great wine, and time to reflect on our incredible lives together. Happy Anniversary to the love of my life, my soulmate, and my best friend, Daina.

Morgan Congrats! Hard to believe it has already been a year for you two. Time is flying by and that alone is an even better reason to be spending that time with each other.

    Happy Anniversary.
    You think this went fast.
    Wait until you have kids.
Born today and can’t wait to drive tomorrow.
(At least that’s what I’m going through now with my 15 year old)
