Remembering Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs made an impact on my life at a very young age, the day I got my first Mac. It changed my life, and now, more than ever, Apple has become a part of my daily life. More than that though, Steve Jobs inspired me to think differently, to take a different path, and embrace the creativity and passion inside of me. When I first heard the news that Steve had passed-away yesterday it impacted me much more than I thought it would. I stopped what I was doing and just sat there, thinking.

Immediately I thought of doing a blog post, sharing my feelings with all of you right-away, but it didn’t feel like the right time. Now that a day has gone by and I’ve had some time to reflect I thought I’d share my thoughts with all of you. When it comes to expressing feelings and emotions I think video is the next-best-thing to being there in person. So rather than writing a long blog post I’ve decided to share my reflections in a video.

Thank you Steve for your contribution to my life, you will be missed but never forgotten. Someday when I have kids of my own I can’t wait to teach them what I’ve learned from you. Goodbye to my mentor and lifelong hero – the world is a better place because of you.
