Small Business Sunday: Manage Tasks Like A Pro With Asana

Task management is one of those areas that has been explored, then explored again, and again, and again. There are literally hundreds of different solutions for task management making it a bit of a challenge to determine which one is the best solution. I have used probably twenty different task management solutions throughout the course of running my business but one has emerged the clear leader for me. It’s called Asana and I’d like to say it really is the Web 2.0 way to manage tasks with ease and style.

Asana

What I like most about Asana is that it is insanely easy to use. This means that you won’t have to waste time training your team to use a new solution, honestly anyone can figure it out in under ten minutes. With Asana you can easily create tasks and assign them to a team member. You can then view tasks by team member and project so you can quickly and easily see what your team is up to.

If you are running a Domaining business Asana can save you a lot of time and help keep your team organized. I really like how easy it is to setup different projects and assign different team members to each. If you are doing Domain Development you can easily create a new project for each development project and then put specific team members onto each.

I discovered Asana this year after a good friend recommended it to me. It only took a day of using it for me to realize this was the solution I had been waiting for. Oh, and one of the best parts is, it’s free so you can get started without having to shell-out your hard earned money.

I don’t know anyone at Asana nor do they know I’m writing this post, instead this is a real tool that I use in my own business and highly recommend to other business owners. So if the Post-It notes are starting to take-over or if your current task management software isn’t up to snuff, you might just find your little slice of heaven with Asana!
