TechCrunch Covers Brand.com Domain Purchase

Brand.com

Reputation Management is a huge industry, and it’s getting bigger every year. People want to be able to manage their reputation online and in a world where Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, You Tube, Vine, Linked In, Vimeo, etc. are all relevant and ranking on the first page of Google, it matters more than ever. Tonight TechCrunch covered the six-figure Brand.com purchase by ReputationChanger.com.

With a name like Reputation Changer, you can imagine that an online reputation management company would be stuck in the shadow of Reputation.com (which itself was formerly known as Reputation Defender). The solution? It’s changing its name, and purchasing a memorable URL of its own — Brand.com. (source – TechCrunch)

This is a great move and the domain they need to really go head-to-head with Reputation.com. The reputation management space is a battle of websites, not of apps, so domains matter much, much, much more than when you’re looking at services like Vine or Instagram.

In this case Reputation Changer will be building their brand on Brand.com now positioning themselves as Brand.com by Reputation Changer. Definitely an awesome purchase and for a web-only company this is a must, especially to compete against someone like Reputation.com. I’ve talked a lot about .IO domains in the startup space because they are really heating up. Still, as I’ve always said, nothing beats a solid one word .COM, just not everyone has the budget for one.

The sky is the limit for Brand.com, the word brand itself is trending amongst the most affluent individuals of our generation. Every entity has a need for brand management or enhancement. I’m excited to see where the brand forming ideology leads this company. Great strategic move on their part.

I think a word only one best reputation is how Brand, but the others that you writes in the post You Tube, Face Book be of two word, the reputation is the same that one word.
The leap for Brand.com make a huge revolution in a market where all is possible, never know the success as this we have to see what solutions and approach be to give this brand which I will be having mine this domain.

Regarding the previous comment that I write, focus without seeing the links to write your post.
For me the concept of brand is not a similar website that I now know, is different in itself to my mind, the word mark understand why having a reputation as high.
If I had Brand.com would focus on all the global brands in a different space to Facebook, Youtube, Google+, Twitter, the strategy is to me a progression not a form of purchase as do businesses and brands have just written.

Brand.com is fine but what about more clearly penned domains like http://www.brandbrewer.com and http://www.brand brewery.com both are for sale at very affordable prices. By the way any one interested in following domain-biz oriented domains.

    PeerlessDomains.com. $500
    Domainatomy.com ( For anatomy of a domain) $500
    Domainography.com $500
    DomainSpokesman.com $500
    Domainerism.com. $200
    Domainologist.com $1500

Visit http://www.brandnamery.com and make offer/ negotiate.

    Thanks.

    Happy domaining/ brand naming!

Indeed a way better domain name than Reputation.com. And appropriately enough Brand.com is much more brandable. Brand.com for the win!
