Awesome infographic. I’m printing it out and putting it on my office door for all to see.

In 1985, I was a sophomore in high school: band geek, girl chaser, and music lover.

I first discovered domains in 1989 while a freshman in college at SMU in Dallas as I used GOPHER, FTP, and email to move about and gather information from the Internet.

In 1985 I was four, probably climbing trees and enjoying the outdoors. I loved being outside. LoveLogo makes nice infographics…I can’t believe 3 of those great domains don’t resolve.

I had no idea that UB.com was such an old domain name. It was last owned by Ultimate Bet, an online poker room that folded after the events of the dreded “Black Friday” when the FBI shut down the biggest us-facing online poker rooms.

I am fairly certain that nobody who had money on UB.com was ever paid. Awful awful situation.

    I wasn’t even born in 1985 😀

I came to know about domains in late 2004 but got serious interest from 2010.
