The First NamesCon Is A Smash Hit

Wow. The last three days have been absolutely incredible and as usual Vegas has left me ready for bed at 9PM. I’m pretty sure I broke my own record for most meetings at a conference with over 20 meetings and some incredible deals ahead for 2014.

It is more clear than ever that the domain industry is changing and yes, new gTLDs are a big part of it. For me this really solidified how massive the impact will be. From amazing talks by people like WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg to one heck of a ping pong championship, to one of the most epic WaterNight’s in history let’s just say NamesCon is officially a smash hit.

So it’s 9:01PM and I honestly don’t think I can stay up for even another hour, so I’ll leave you with a few photo highlights, more to come once I get a good night’s sleep…

Wow, you must be really tired Morgan – I’ll give you a hand with that last caption (although the order you have the names in is cute) : George, Braden, me and Adam causing trouble.

Thanks for the update and pics – looks like a great conference.

Looks like you had a awesome time. I’m hoping to be there next year (all the way from Hong Kong)!

I am curious to know what Matt from WP had to say. He uses MA.TT for his personal site. I imagine he has a positive reaction regarding the “new G’s”. Thanks Morgan…
