TRAFFIC Las Vegas Day Two – Who Needs Sleep!

Well day two at TRAFFIC turned-out to be so busy that I’m not getting the blog post out until just now. There are plenty of great bloggers reporting on the show so I’ll try to focus on what I did during the day so you can get a taste of my experience.

First-off – the highlight of my day – I was able to interview some amazing heavy-hitters in the Domaining industry – Howard Neu, Ron Jackson, and Michael Berkens. As you know one of my major focuses at the show is to get interviews with the top Domainers and key players in the space for my television show – Domainvestors Television.

I can tell you these are interviews you won’t want to miss and you will see them in the first few episodes of the show as well as here on my blog. I am working hard to get input from the greatest minds in the industry and give everyone a look-into how successful Domainers think. On top of that I’ve been asking everyone for one fun fact about themselves so you can expect to learn something interesting about your personal hero when you watch the show!

There were some great seminars during the day but I didn’t get a chance to attend any of them since I was filming all day! Michael Berkens has been a blogging machine so make sure to check-out TheDomains.com for some great updates and insight.

Of course Ron Jackson has an incredible re-cap of day two on DN Journal so if you didn’t attend the show you MUST read this – he does an amazing job of making you feel like you were here and I read this before going to bed to fill-in on the events I missed while I was busy filming.

The Main Event for the day was Rick Latona’s auction which unfortunately hit some technical snags and had to be rescheduled to Saturday. It was a hard thing to do but Rick did the right thing and everyone across the board was supportive of the move that he made.

In fact – and this just shows how much Rick puts-into everything the does – I received a wake-up call this morning reminding me that the auction would start at 10AM. That was incredible and really shows the quality of execution Rick provides and it shows it every aspect of TRAFFIC!

After the auction we went to a party at Aria. It’s amazing how many people I’ve met just in the last few days and I can honestly say I’ve never felt more welcomed or at home in my life! In fact I’ve been getting a bit sad today thinking of leaving but heck – I’m going to DOMAINfest next week so I’ll get to see everyone again and meet some new people as well!

Okay – Test Track is about to start and I don’t want to miss it! Just finished an interview with the Costello brothers and as usual – I’m more inspired than ever. No proof-reading of this post as there just aren’t enough hours in the day so I’ll apologize in advance for any weird typo’s or sentences that make no sense.

Make sure to check-back to the blog as I’ll be reporting the domain names I bought in the TRAFFIC Auction today – my heart is still pounding from the excitement!!

Oh – and as the title suggests I didn’t get much sleep. Went to bed at 5:30AM and got up at around 8:30AM – it’s Vegas though so who needs sleep!
