Today is a very important day. It is the day that we take a step back from the normal hustle-and-bustle of our everyday lives and remember those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we all enjoy today.
I know that I have a number of MorganLinton.com readers who are currently serving in the military, and I also know that I have many readers that have lost a friend or family member in a war. I wanted to take this moment to sincerely thank every single blog reader who currently serves in our military as well as honor those who had friends or family that lost their lives while in service.
While spending one day to put focus on these incredible sacrifices is important, I think it is even more important to know that this gratitude, this celebration of life spans much more than a day, it should span our entire lifetime. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families who have lost loved ones making the ultimate sacrifice for our country, we will never forget them.
