Hello, happy Sunday, and welcome to my weekend musings. I’m going to keep this incredibly short because it’s a beautiful day and we’re getting ready to head out for a walk on the beach. I have to say that I really do appreciate the winters here in Southern California, it was 75 degrees yesterday without a cloud in sight and it looks like it’s just about the same today.
This weekend we are busy with Fashion Metric as per usual. Yes, we work all day every day on it Monday through Sunday, and love every minute of it. Honestly I can’t get it out of my head, I wake up and I’m ready to go. The highlight this week has been a collaboration we have with GILT, if you’re looking for a great deal on custom shirts, all fitted by Fashion Metric you can still enjoy the savings until this coming Wednesday.
If you don’t know much about GILT you should definitely check them out, with over 20 million unique visitors/month they are a pretty incredibly company. Think of GILT a bit like a higher-end version of Groupon.
On the domain-side of things Linton Investments hired another LA-based salesperson this week and added three new clients (all startups). We are also seeing a record number of offers coming in (over 20 offers this week alone!) however as usual only a small fraction of these offers turn into a sale. Q4 has always been a great quarter for Linton Investments and with a new LA-based sales team I think this year it’s going to be even better.
