Welcome To My Newest Sponsor – NameCheap

I would like to give a very warm welcome to my newest sponsor, NameCheap, a company that many of you already know and for those who don’t – you should. NameCheap is one of the most respected registrars in the domain world and is very Domainer-friendly which means you  can expect top-notch support and very low pricing.

NameCheap

Both of these are qualities that are critical for any investor big and small. I’ve said it many times before but picking the right registrar for your Domaining business has a direct impact on your success and profits. There are many registrars out there that make managing large portfolios of domain names complex and keep registration and renewal fees high. Take Network Solutions for example, .COM registrations cost $34.99/year and I can tell you from experience they are not incredibly friendly to Domainers.

Some of you might already know to avoid registrars like Network Solutions but I know many of my readers are brand-new to the Domaining world and are trying to pick the right registrar for their business.

NameCheap charges under $11/year for .COM registration and offers technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They also have some of the best pricing on SSL Certificates I have ever seen and are one of the recommended SSL providers by Rackspace. Hosting starts at under $4/month so you can easily register your names and host them at the same place.

Last but not least, NameCheap was voted best domain registrar by LifeHacker Readers. I know many pro’s in the domain industry swear by NameCheap and I am very excited to have them as the newest sponsor of MorganLinton.com!

The owner is Richard Kirkendall and I have met him in person many times. He attends a number of Domain Conferences and ICANN events. Great guy and someone that has an incredibly name and reputation in the industry.

    Great news Morgan!
I’ve been using NC for quite some time and find their customer support agents as some of tr best in the industry. Free Whois with registration, easy and manageable portfolio, and no “sales” calls the second you register a domain…trying to get you to upgrade or buy additional services.

Thanks @Adam – I forgot to mention the Free WHOIS privacy piece which is a big one and can be a huge savings. Also the no “Sales” calls is a big one too, those drive me absolutely insane! Their support really is top-notch which has always been the most important factor in my book when it comes to registrars.
