Which will sell for more – SportsBike.com or Accessibility.com?

Two auctions are neck and neck at Go Daddy auctions right now, a one-word .COM and a two-word .COM. As of this post being written SportsBike.com is slightly ahead at $15,750 and Accessibility.com is $500 less at $15,250.

Both auctions have almost exactly the same amount of time left so it’s going to be interesting to watch these continue to climb over the course of the week.

IMO Accessibility.com should sell for more and Go Daddy’s appraisal system seems to agree valuing it at $20,925 vs. SportsBike.com which it values at $7,475. My guess is that the price estimate for Accessibility.com is being buoyed in Go Daddy’s algorithm since it’s a one-word .COM and I’m also guessing there are a lot of smaller sales with the word “bike” in it bringing the estimate down on SportsBike.com.

But hey, I’m no algorithm so who knows! What I do know is that Accessibility.com has a pretty wide range of uses from technology to health I could see a number of startups putting this domain name to good use. While I certainly like Access.com more, that’s a six-figure name whereas I think it’s pretty clear Accessibility.com is going to sell for something likely in the low-to-mid five figure range.

SportsBike.com honestly is a bit of a head scratcher for me. I get it, “sports bike” refers to motorcycles (or at least I think it does, someone correct me if I’m wrong!) and I know people around the world are into motorcycles…but I don’t see this being something many people buy online. This domain is also, obviously, very niche-specific, there aren’t that many things you could use it for.

All that being said, I don’t know much about motorcycles so I could be missing something here and something tells me you’ll let me know in the comment section below if I am. So I’ll put my bets on Accessibility.com selling for more, now I want to hear from you – what do you think? Comment and let your voice be heard!

Hi. I also feel that Accessibility.com should sell for more. It is more generic and can be used for many number of businesses. But SportBike.com is very niche specific and sometimes it is better for such niche specific names to be plural instead of singular. SportsBikes.com may be better. But still not better than accessibility.com in my opinion.

SportsBike.com is better for a real business website.

Accessibility is too hard to spell and does not make a good business website domain name.

    Hi..

I am more leaning towards SportsBike…this is exact match name of the product…which is at very high end of prices in this category….I see 18k monthly searches.

More over it is direct product not a service to put more effort and system around it.

But you are correct when you say not many people buy bikes online…at least not at present…

Accessibility is one word name but 13 letters!! and also doesn’t reflect any direct product with its name…it needs to be adapted to other main field…like you mentioned finance / medical / transport solutions. and definitely needs lots of promotion connecting to its main field.

Thoug these are my thoughts… the auction can go either way.

    Thanks,
    Ravi.

I think there both overpriced right now. Estibot says sportsbike.com is $2300

Sportsbike.com definitely sounds like fake bidding to me. What would anyone pay that? Probably both fake bidding though given Godaddy auctions at the moment.

Looks like sportsbike.com auction was pulled and accessibility.com allowed to continue, have doubts about both.
