Zample.com from mid xxx Go Daddy Auction Win to $15,000 sale in 6 months

This week’s sales report showed an example of what we all would like to have happen with a Go Daddy win.  Back in May Zample.com sold for $396 on Go Daddy auctions and the name was sold this week on Afternic for $15,000. The buyer is currently under privacy.

This is also an example of why companies who are using an alt extension like me or co want to keep an eye on the .com. Zample.me is a start up that offers a simple product that has no monetization behind it yet. They were previewed on new-startups.com.

Now I am sure they are fine with their .me but when you can secure the .com in an auction for under $1,000 it might make sense. Now that the domain has sold for $15,000 it might be off the table for good.

Zample.co was developed as an online magazine for music and has since dropped and is now available.

Another company out there is using codezample.com and zample.com itself does have an Alexa ranking although its not very low. (Low being good for those not familiar with Alexa).

Congrats to the seller and best of luck to the buyer.
