Help me finalize the design for my 11 year blogging anniversary shirt

I was excited to see a ton of feedback for my 11 year blogging anniversary shirt – it certainly sounds like people are interested and I really appreciate all the great suggestions. So the winner for the front of the shirt is, drumroll please, #Domainer. So now we need to pick a color. Here are three options I came up with:

Athletic Grey

The shirt is going to be made by American Apparel, their Tri-Blend shirts are incredibly soft and seem to last forever. Some people had suggested putting a big number 11 on the back of the shirt but I think that might discourage people from wearing it, so I thought I’d go with something more subtle, like this:

Okay – so now is where you come in. What color do you think looks the best? Also do you think the simply back design is good or should I have a giant 11 on the back? Also just to clarify, everyone who comments gets a shirt, for free. If you take the time to read my blog and share your opinion, then this shirt is for you!

Now it’s your turn, comment and let your voice be heard!

    Good choice! 🙂

As I had mentioned before, I think adding the hashtag will get people to look up the meaning of “Domainer”, even if they don’t ask about it.

I like the blue color, and will throw in a vote for your url on the back.

I like tri-indigo the others I thought were a bit dark.

I can’t wait to wear this in the local table tennis club with all the coders lol

And for me it reads better when you use capital letters, instead of

I go for Tri-indigo. Looks cooler compared to the others. The simple url address at the back is just perfect.

    Tri indigo!

    Hi Morgan,

My vote is for Tri-Indigo. Also, simple back design, no “11”.

Congratulations on an impressive 11 years. I remember watching the live videos from Westwood.

I hope to see you again at one of the meet ups.

    Tri-indigo looks good.
About the back, a small 11 with url underneath would be more appropriate 🙂

Hmmm …thought this wasn’t going to be a publicity stunt?

Tri-Indigo looks great, with just your on the back without the 11. Thanks!

Really enjoy your blog, congrats on 11 years!
Prefer the simple back, Tri-Indigo. Had you considered black lettering for the grey?

Tri-indigo .It brings out the bold printed # Domainer clearly. Happy 11 year anniversary,Morgan .

    1. Blue

    2. Place the # 11 on the back like a sports jersey, if this is a one time celebration of your anniversary. If it is going to be a promotional product your offer as part of your e-store moving forward then stick with the call to action on the back.

I prefer the blue and like the simplicity if the design.

I like blue but I know I’ll look better in grey.

Also, I would love to hear your opinion about Mike Mann and his impending big-time loss of if Buzzfeeds’ wins a claim to the name – I know Mike values at $3 million, but really, with a trademark owner disputing the name because they have a full-fledged operation going at and social media channels, this once-diamond name is going to be dangerous for anyone else except buzzfeed to own. The name is only great for a site about food, and buzzfeeds active trademarks will scare away anyone wishing to use it for a food-relate/cooking site, let alone gamble millions to buy the name and develop it.
