Hello, happy Sunday, and welcome to my incredibly brief weekend musings. I am writing this at 10:54AM sitting by the fire in a little cottage tucked-away in Napa Valley. Yesterday was my 32nd Birthday (yes, I seem to be getting older despite my best attempts) and me, Daina, and some close friends headed to Napa Valley for a day of wine tasting.
We visited a total of four wineries and had some fantastic wine. I’ve tasted in Napa quite a bit and have learned over time to book tastings in advance and avoid the large crowded wineries. We are members of a great winery called Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars which made history and put California on the map for wine at a tasting event in Paris back in 1976. If you visit Napa I definitely recommend visiting Stag’s Leap and trying the S.L.V. Cabernet, it really is one of the best in the world!
Last night we stayed in Calistoga and woke-up this morning to another beautiful day in Napa Valley. We have one more wine tasting and tour this afternoon and then it’s back to Berkeley, then back to LA Monday morning.
I am incredibly excited for the release of the 3rd Edition of the Domain Investing Handbook tomorrow. Thanks to all of the early adopters who read the book and shared their feedback and I look forward to sharing my latest book with the world.
I hope you’re all having a great weekend! Now it’s time to drink some wine!
